Epilepsy Organisations

Epilepsy Scotland provides a free phone confidential helpline, training to professionals and family carers and Community Support Services.
Quarriers supports children and adults with a wide range of disabilities in Scotland and run Hunter House, the National Epilepsy Assessment Centre, the only facility of its kind in Scotland.
Epilepsy Connections (Scotland - Greater Glasgow and Clyde and Forth Valley Health Board areas) Provides information and support.

Autism Organisations

National Autistic Society has a section on their website for Scotland.
The Scottish Society for Autism provides support and opportunties to people with autism; raises public awareness and influences policy and practice.

Disability Organisations

Enable is the leading charity for people with learning disabilties in Scotland; campaigns and supports individuals and families.
Quarriers supports children and adults with a wide range of disabilities in Scotland.
The Disabled Trust for Scotland provides equipment for disabled people all over Scotland.

Other organisations
Care and Repair schemes enable elderly, disabled owner-occupiers and crofters to carry out repairs, improvements and adaptations enabling them to stay in their own homes.
The Scottish Executive’s Central Heating Programme provides central heating, insulation and advice to individuals in receipt of certain benefits.
Health Rights Information Scotland produces clear, accurate, and up to date information about your health rights. They can also provide assistance to those involved in producing patient information.
Strathclyde Fire & Rescue are now offering FREE home fire safety visits to everyone in the area
