Children’s Big Day (crèche)
This year we have again invested in a reputable external childcare provider for anyone under the age of 16 years. Children will be treated to fun activities throughout the day including, crafts, games, music therapy, entertainers and much, much more. Childcare is provided free of charge for children who are booked in and attend. Places are limited.*
The TSA provides a support fund to assist members of the TSC community who otherwise could not afford to attend this event. You can read more about this and make an application here: www.tuberous-sclerosis.org/tsa_support_fund If you require help with this application contact your regional TSA Adviser www.tuberous-sclerosis.org/tsa_advisers
This celebratory sparkling event will show case our #40Stories from the last 40 years of the TSA. There will be an exhibition of pictures and presentations, and the artwork from our Outlook group for CUT adults with TSC. All TSA Big Day guests are welcome to attend.
As part of our 40th anniversary celebrations we are hosting this one-off fundraiser. Participants will receive a full safety briefing before walking over the embers in a show of TSC solidarity and to raise much needed funds. If you’re interested in the Firewalk on Friday 22nd September at 9pm. For more information on this event please contact Fundraising Officer, Kathryn Harrison:
Phone: 0161 681 6015
Lunch is provided in the restaurant and will be phased. Parents with children will eat first. We are assured this will work well!
* For children with TSC/additional needs we will aim to provide 121 professional care throughout the day. As we are sure you can appreciate this child care comes at substantial cost and places are limited. Therefore, if you book crèche and you no longer require a spot we would ask you to let us know at least 2 weeks in advance, otherwise we will take an additional £15 per child who does not show up on the day.
