are any of the women with aml's who recently had pregnancies still around? i cant find any info on the ts alliance website about pregnancy and aml's. we just found out yesterday i am pregnant, 4 weeks along currently. a couple months back i consulted with my ob who conferenced my urologist and a maternal/fetal specialist and they concluded my kidneys can safely handle a pregnancy. i'm wondering how this may affect my aml's and how i may be monitored differently during this pregnancy than my last 2. my urologist even commented that this pregnancy shall be "safer" than my other two. when i was pregnant in 2007 i had an undiagnosed aml that was 7cm! the largest i have now (that hasnt been embolized) is 2cm if memory serves correctly. i would love to hear from one of the women who had pregnancies with aml's. this was not a planned pregnancy and frankly, i'm scared. help/advice please?
