The Liverpool (Alder Hey) Tuberous Sclerosis Clinic

The clinic sees children with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) and their families living in Merseyside, North Wales, Cheshire and parts of Lancashire. The clinic focuses on and provides advice on children’s learning, behavioural and sleep problems and epilepsy and works very closely with the child’s local healthcare and education services. The clinic is held on a Monday afternoon in the Paediatric Neurosciences Foundation Outpatient Department at Alder Hey. Children may be referred to the Alder Hey TSC Clinic by their general practitioner, paediatrician, paediatric neurologist or geneticist.
